Sanding sugar is a great way to add a little sparkle to your sweets and the rim of cocktail glasses! They crystal is slightly larger than basic white sugar and smaller than sparkling sugar. Multicolored sanding sugar is a classic for decorating Christmas cookies. To add a little bling to your cocktail glass, use a lemon or lime wedge to wet the rim. Pour some sugar into a shallow bowl wide enough to fit the glass then roll the rim gently through the sugar and voilà! You will need ¼ - ½ teaspoon of sanding sugar per glass depending on the size.
