Party Animals + Sprinkles Party: A Graduation Celebration
This week on Bakers Party Shop's Blog we're excited to share a Party Animals + Sprinkles Party that's a graduation celebration by our friend and guest contributor Mayra of In Flight Ideas. This celebration had multiple displays including a party animals cake table with multiple cakes, cotton candy display and a unicorn drink station, which we'll share in a future post. What made this party even more special is that it was for Mayra's daughters graduation party. We loved the modern and fun twist that was put on her graduation celebration. I mean party animals + sprinkles....if that doesn't scream it is time celebrate I don't know what will! Take it away Mayra...

Last Summer we celebrated my daughter’s High School Graduation with a very festive theme of party animals, sprinkles and confetti. Each table was decorated as a celebration of things she likes which created a special touch and memory of this special occasion. We kept it fun by incorporating different themes and stations, both inside and outside. We had a party animals snack cakes table for welcoming guests. Because why do we leave the sweets for endings, right?!...a unicorn drink station and even a cotton candy display outside. You knew from the moment you arrived that you were here to CELEBRATE!
Working with Bakers Party Shop to find just the right sprinkles made our "sprinkles and confetti" vision for our party stations come to life! I was able to find something for every theme! They pretty much have every color and sprinkle style imaginable! Along with different kinds of sprinkles the cakes were decorated with party animals sporting graduation caps, candles and cake toppers.
My favorite sprinkle style is Bakers Party Shop's Sprinklefetti™ sprinkle mixes. They're fun, vibrant and a mix of all kinds of sprinkles. My baker and I used the sprinkles to decorate the cakes, provide detail to a plate filled with Oreos, to top our unicorn parfait and to rim the edge of vintage glasses for a fabulous piña colada drink. There are so many ways you can use sprinkles to make your party pop!
What I liked the most about this party is the way the fun party animals + sprinkles theme can be carried out for any type of celebration just by changing out the toppers and adding to the occasion through decor. Think birthdays, summer entertaining and of course remember this for your next graduation party!

Cakes by Brianna’s Tiny Cakes: We celebrated with vanilla, chocolate and funfetti flavors because three cakes is way better than one! Sprinkles and Sprinklefetti sprinkle mixes by Bakers Party Shop.
Toppers by: Modern Birch Company and Land of the Unique. We used toppers not only on the top of the cakes but also to mark what kind of cake each cake was. For a fun idea fill the bottom of a glass and tuck a "flavor" topper in each glass and place by the cake that is that flavor. While some like a "sweet surprise" this will help your guests now what flavor they want to choose.
Cookies & Cotton Candy by KJ Cookies: These fun colorful graduation cookies helped fill our our cake display and provided guests with another sweet option....just in case you don't want cake. Bright colors and fun sprinkles tied the cakes and cookie together.
The look on their faces show that the party animal + sprinkles party for a graduation celebration was a huge success! Mayra created such a special day for her daughter. Incorporating some of her daughters favorite things into her graduation party will made the day even that more memorable. We hope you learned that you can think out of the box and put your own (or your child's) twist on their special graduation celebration party. It doesn't have to be just school colors. With some party animals to top the cakes and sprinkles...well, sprinkled everywhere you can have a fun celebration no matter what the event may be!
