She'll teach you how to create a mix of tricks and sweet treats to create the perfect Halloween Party Table even if you are short on time, and lets face it who isn't these days! Our Halloween Meri Meri partware was the inspiration for the color palette used on her spooky and fun Halloween desserts. Who's ready to get their BOO on and see how easy it is to create a Halloween sweets + treats for your next Halloween party table? Take it away Christie...
Halloween time is here, and it’s probably my favorite holiday of all. The cute decorations, traditions and treat-making opportunities are endless. This year, I created a fun and tasty dessert table for my little ghoul and her freaky friends, and I can’t wait to share all the spooky details with you!
White powdered donuts were perched on Witch Broom Sticks and arranged in a circle. (These witch brooms also make adorable drink accents!) Witchy Iced Sugar Cookies and Candy Corn Cookies were created in a soft palette of muted pastel Halloween colors.
What better tableware to enhance such a charming display, than Meri Meri Halloween plates and napkins? The blush peach colored plate has an iridescent sheen that is so enchanting, and hologram foil images of bats, cats, ghosts and skulls decorate the adorable Halloween plates that come in two sizes. The coordinating napkins are equally charming.
Once they were seated, the girls enjoyed sparkling lemonade in my own special lilac colored goblets, each topped off with a cheerful black and white polka dotted paper straw.
The details on the desserts could now be fully appreciated. Each cupcake was decorated with either a spider or a lovely little sugar ghost on top, and they’re all different! Two kinds of Halloween Sprinklefetti were used, Skull and Bones has tiny bones and skulls in the mix, along with sparkling sugar crystals, tiny stars and even tinier nonpareils. Spooked Sprinklefetti has lovely touches of coral in the mix, which coordinated perfectly with my palette!
Cookies were decorated carefully using individual sprinkles from the Halloween Sprinklefetti mix, as well as by layering icing in various colors to create ruffles and details.
These Halloween sweets + treats were such fun to make, and to share with you! Cast a spell on your friends and family this year by creating some of your own magical Halloween sweets + treats with all the fixings and fun baking and party supplies from Bakers Party Shop! Stay tuned for another post this week where I will go into a little more detail on how to make the faBOOlous Halloween cookies featured in this post.
