We are sharing 4 quick and easy ways you can decorate your home made or store bought cupcakes, muffins and donut holes for St. Patrick's Day! We know most are busy but that doesn't mean you can't have some pretty and fun desserts with a little help from some great St. Patty's Day printables, our hand painted rock candy sticks, sprinkles and some pretty cupcake liners! Our friends at Forever Your Prints shared their St Patrick's Day printables with us so we could make some fun items for this post and if you read on they are letting us share them with you so you can make some fun things with them!

DIY ST. PATRICK'S DAY QUICK AND CUTE CUPCAKE TOPPERS: We have to admit the level of some baked goods that you can find at your local grocery store have improved over the last couple years. If you are short on time you can quickly enhance your cupcakes by making some cute cupcake toppers with our hand painted rock candy sticks and St Patty's Day printables from Forever Your Prints. For the toppers we punched out the rounds with a EK Success 2" scallop edged paper punch. To adhere them to our painted rock candy sticks we used some fun washi tape that we had that coordinated with the printables. Forever your prints is offering a special offer where you can download her adorable St Patrick's Day printables for FREE on their blog!! A quick and easy way to spruce up your St. Patrick's Day treats is to either bake some fun cupcakes in the Sweets and Treats Colorblock Greaseproof Cupcake Liners we carry or add some of the pretty cupcake liners to store bought cupcakes to give them a pop of color! We use store bought cupcakes here and yes the cupcakes are a tad taller than normal but the liners still look cute on them! We added some of our St Patrick's Day sprinkles to the frosting. To help the sprinkles stick to the icing we lightly brushed the frosting with a small amount of water to get the icing moist so the sprinkles would stick and not just roll off. If you are making and frosting cupcakes from scratch we recommend adding the sprinkles to the frosting right after you frost them so they stick.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY DECORATED JUMBO MUFFINS: Since the cupcake toppers came out so cute we thought we would decorate some jumbo pistachio muffins too! These are great to take to the office or for a St Patrick's Day brunch! We used the same toppers and found out that our standard size cupcake liners fit perfectly on the bottom of a jumbo store bought muffin! Poof...with a couple simple items you can turn a store bought muffin into something spectacular! If you are setting up a dessert or brunch table you can add some extra decoration by scattering around the display some of our new cute teeny 2" honey comb balls and tiny 3" honeycomb balls!

ST. PATRICK'S DAY ROCK CANDY DONUT STICKS: Here is another super easy thing you can do for St. Patrick's Day breakfast or brunch. They would even be cute to stick in your childs lunch box for a special surprise too! Use the same toppers you made for the cupcakes and muffins but put 2 large or 3 small donut holes on them! Donut sticks...how cute is that!

ST. PATRICK'S DAY DONUT BERRY BOX FAVORS: Now if you are looking for a cute way to package up some goodies our fun berry baskets with lids worked perfect to hold some donut holes! These would be great to pass out at work or use as party favors. You would fill them with all kinds of fun treats or candies! We cut out the St Patrick's Day printable design and left it in the square it comes on in the sheet. It was the perfect size to fit on the berry basket lid. We used a standard size hole punch to punch a hole on the left and right side of the square and then threaded some of our lime bakers twine through the holed and tied a bow at the bottom of the box so it was hidden. Three strands of twine worked well and made the topper fit securely on the box and lid.

We hope you enjoyed our simple and easy ways you can decorate your St Patrick's day treats! Don't forget to stop by Forever Your Prints blog so you can get the FREE St Patrick's Day printables so you can make some of the fun things we shared!

Wishing you a fun St. Patrick's Day!
